Right then chums, who's up for a bit of a day out..?

Speaking to Jas and Emily the other day I know they're both free on Thursday 8th Nov so we've got that pencilled in for *something*. I''ll be teaching in the evening so I'll need to be home by 5 but sure we can squeeze something fun in for the day..

Any thoughts as to where to go/what to do?

Oh yeah, I met up with Gay earlier today too and she's got that one pencilled in now too.

Might be a good one for Westonbirt? i was up there yesterday and it's starting to look pretty impressive already, another couple of weeks and I reckon the autumn colour will be amazing.

If that's not your cup of tea feel free to suggest anywhere you like. If I can point a camera at it, I'm in!

Had a nice afternoon noodle round the zoo with Gay and James on friday (pics to follow), and it seems that Fridays are likely to be quite a regular photography day.

Anyone got any local haunts they fancy for a bit of a mooch about? (Big days out in the 'Location, location' thread :-)

A few on the obvious list:
Slimbridge
Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford
Tintern Abbey
Severn Bridges
Bristol Harbourside
Burnham Lighthouse
Priddy/Cheddar

I'll keep watching this thread and if the selection is not too far to travel then I might just tag along one time.
