6/52 Pet portraits. Bad lighting mad little dog that wont stay still for a moment. certainly a tough one.

7/52 an attempt at a classic heart shaped shadow using continuous lighting. for the light I used my sons Little LED bed lamp with a snoot made from a sheet of paper.

Nice one Phil. Very topical this week too. Did you manage to get it to balance ok or was there a sneaky bit of blu-tack involved?

Classic one which I've done a couple of times for weddings is to use a dictionary open at the entry for 'love' or 'marriage' and get a little pool of light (or cheat and do that in PS) on the word too.

Defies make me think what else could be done with interesting use of shadows too?

After several balancing attempts, i did resort to the bluetack in the end . It was a good one with loads of other possibilities. (i like the idea of a separate pool of light to highlight something

8/52 photoshop manipulation.
this one probably breaks the rules because the photos were not taken this week. but I have spent a couple of hours making the image today. and I have learnt an absolute ton about photoshop. Im pretty pleased with thee result

No rules here, other than try to keep mixing up the topics. I often drag stuff out of the archives for a play. Exactly what you've just done, the edit is current work innit

9/52 Balanced. I went on a photo walk this week round Castle coombe . I went out with an idea to get something a bit different and also balanced this is what I got.

It's a lovely little village isn't it. Another well worth a visit is Lacock. Really unusual in that you don't see any TV arials or electricity wires anywhere making for some really timeless shots.
