Re: Project 52: 2016 Intro / General Discussion

Hey, it would be really nice to see some of you guys actually interacting with one another, posting a few comments, feedback or suggestions.

It's really easy to get off track and lose the momentum with these kind of projects, but a bit of mutual support and encouragement goes a long way.

Re: Project 52: 2016 Introduction

I know that Helen has been trying the water drops, who else is going to try something...

Re: Ask me anything!

(Sorry, missed this!) Basically they're guide lines which show the angle that the curve exits from that point. See 'bezier curves' for more info on the general idea. The pen tool is a pain in the bum until you get the hang of it. The main thing is to keep your pen 'strokes' moving in the right direc...

5/52 - Smoke Trails

Bit behind on posting I'm still playing catch-up so here's a little something I did yesterday when Helen was here for a Masterclass day. We had a bit of fun as I showed her how I do the smoke-trails images. We only spent 10 minutes or so playing with them as an example, and this was just a 2 minute ...

Re: Phil Munyard Project 52 2016

Spot on Phil, love a bit of light painting.. I've been thinking about a little electronics project (Raspberry Pi/Arduino based) to make a full RBG programmable light wand. With those you can paint a whole bitmap image...
